December 8, 2009 Telkoor Telecom (TASE: TLK) the global provider of power supplies, for military, industrial and telecom applications today announced that its subsidiary in USA, Digital Power Corporation Ltd., has received an order of approximately 2 Million $US, thru its UK based subsidiary Gresham Power for naval power systems from the Australian Navy.
Gresham Power reports also that similar systems are negotiated with the Naval Forces of India.
“We are very excited to have this new customer on our customer list” said Ben-Zion Diamant, CEO of Telkoor. “The systems to be delivered are among the most advanced systems in the field and will be used to power up helicopters on the ship’ deck and to feed ship air defense systems”.
Similar systems were supplied in the past to the Spanish Navy as well.
